By accessing and using MyTax Nigeria (mytaxng.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

Description of Service

MyTax Nigeria provides online financial tools including a PAYE Tax Calculator, Budget Planner, Savings Goals tracker, and professional accounting templates. The platform offers both free and premium features.

Free and Premium Services

Our core tools (Tax Calculator, Budget Planner, Savings Goals) are available free of charge. Premium features — including PDF exports, tax optimisation tips, and accounting templates — require a paid subscription.

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely through Paystack. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Accuracy of Calculations

MyTax Nigeria provides tax calculations based on the Nigeria Tax Act (NTA) 2025 and other applicable Nigerian tax legislation. While we strive for accuracy, our calculations are estimates for informational purposes only.

Tax calculations may not account for every individual circumstance, state-specific variations, or recent legislative changes not yet reflected in our system. You should not rely solely on MyTax Nigeria for official tax filings or compliance decisions.

We strongly recommend consulting a qualified tax professional or chartered accountant for official tax advice and filing.

User Responsibilities

When using MyTax Nigeria, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when using our tools
• Use the platform for lawful purposes only
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute our software
• Not use automated tools to scrape or access our platform
• Not interfere with the platform's security or functionality

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, branding, and intellectual property on MyTax Nigeria is owned by MyTax Nigeria and its founder. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without written permission.

Documents and reports you generate using our tools (such as PDF tax reports or accounting templates) are yours to use freely for personal or professional purposes.

Limitation of Liability

MyTax Nigeria is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

This includes, but is not limited to, any financial loss resulting from reliance on our tax calculations, budget projections, or savings estimates.

Refund Policy

Premium subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis for the current billing period. Please contact us within 7 days of payment if you believe a refund is warranted.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of MyTax Nigeria after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
